6XS Coffee in Koreatown
Located at 3907 W 6th Street, LA CA 90020 and related to 6Ixth Sense LA just east on the corner, this new-ish coffee spot is quite wonderful, stylish while being very accessible, much like the deisgn sens of it's Mother store.
The cold brews come in various types. I ordered the tower. It was deeply roasty and slightly bitter, which i thoroughly enjoyed. It's been rather hot and humid lately. This is the norm in LA around this time now, with El Niño and all, global warming, gentrification, etc. etc.
Shout out to ice cube trays, which i bought one for my home recently, after procrastinating for years. Check this out:
In 1844, American physician, John Gorrie, built a refrigerator to make ice to cool the air for his yellow fever patients. Some historians think that Doctor Gorrie may have also invented the first ice cube tray since it was documented that his patients were also receiving iced drinks.
