Kroran Uyghur Cuisine in San Diego

I had never heard of Uyghur.

I went to go visit my friend Alessandra Moctezuma where she teaches at mesa College in San Diego CA. For lunch, she brought me to this place, which she had really enjoyed eating at. She told me that the Uyghur community is an indigenous peoples in China who have been discriminated against by the government there. The staff there were very welcoming and were ready to explain the various dishes on the menu and even make recommendations for a first timer like myself. Everything was fresh and hearty but the noodles blew me away; robust and tasty as well as full of flavor and spices. i'd never had noodles like that before.
