Snow Monster in the LBC

 

It was really nice to meet friend/sister/comrade/artist/teacher/curator, Alessandra Moctezuma during this short period of time when she was in production of Judy Baca's retrospective at the Museum of Latina American Art in Long Beach CA. She would text me and say, I'll be at the Museum on such-a-such-a day, wanna meet up afterwards for dinner? Of course! On this day, we had Mediterranean food and capped it off with ice cream at Snow Monster, 5211 2nd St, Long Beach, CA 90803. So much fun! The key was to have in the LBC long enough to miss the traffic back to San Diego. The ice cream at Snow Monsters was delicious with very minty and creamy ices.
