Artist Cafe Chicago

Located at 412 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60605, this OG spot is on the street level of the Fine Arts Building very near the Chicago Art Institute. As I was drinking my soup, I kept seeing a lot of very young musicians and their parent. From the look on their faces, I wasn't sure if they were just from an auction in the building or a lesson. Very few smiles. What's u with that? This place is an old diner with a counter and outdoor seating. the menu is Greek-American and the servers are fantastic. My server, I didn't catch her name but she was amazing, a real pro. She treated me well the moment I sat at the counter. Loved it, as I was nursing a hangover and she and I bonded. Ha ha.
