Super Rica in Santa Barbara

Our dear friends Marta Perlas and Kipp Kobayashi have been telling us about this place for at least five years. Enough was enough so we took our our collective "girls" to the SB and made a day of it starting with the legendary La Super Rica located at 622 N Milpas St, Santa Barbara CA 93101, 805-963-4940. Marta decided to order every notable tacos on the menu. The beauty of the place is it's handmade-to-order tortilla. These flour tortillas are fluffy, warm, delicious and melt in your mouth. I also appreciated the roasted chilies, marinated meats and this intense melted cheese and homemade bacon dish. We arrived a half hour before they opened on a week day so we did not have wait in line very long. That's right, the lines insane. By the time we were out of there, the line circled down the block. Wow. And then we went to the zoo and feed the giraffe.
