La Fuente on Figueroa in Highland Park, 5552 Figueroa Avenue LA CA 90042! Went to the other one this morning for the first time. Poet Alicia Vogl Saenz moved to this neighborhood. This old school Mexican food cafe is pretty awesome. I had the Chorizo con Huevos, the breakfast of champions. Alicia had the Chiliquelez with green sauce. It's awesome to have this heavy duty cuisine on a Friday morning. The Pico de Gallo and red hot salsa was smoky.
