The continuation of interviews for asianamericanfuturism.com started last month. Along those lines, I had the pleasure of interviewing L.A. Poet Sesshu Foster. Afterwards, I was driving towards Huntington and came upon this small little Italian place. Perfect? Genove's is located at 2900 West Main Street, Alhambra CA 91801. Nowadays, there's a bunch of trendy pizza places popping all over LA but this place has an old LA feel. The pizza was delicious with a fluffy thick crust. The sausages were so os but the cheese was melty and delicious. The salad was nostalgic. it reminded me of the old downtown cafeterias we used to go to. The interior is also cute. The server was very sweet and the only one for lunch so she had her hands full. Patience is a virtue!
