Okinawa Institute of Gardena CA

Located at 16500 S Western Ave #203, Gardena, CA 90247, the Okinawa Institute of Gardena CA has an annual bazaar with food and cultural activities. I went for the first time this year and it's a wonderful experience. People are super nice. The locals said the event was better attended in the past but the hour I was there I felt it was very crowded. I ate for the first time, Okinawa Soba which was amazing. The noodles are angular and hearty and the pork is earthy and delicious. I also got some dango or Sata Andagi was sweet, crunch on the outside and soft and hot in the inside. To go, I ordered some Taco Rice which i ate that night. If you get a chance to check this out next year, i highly recommend it.
