Monty's on Western Avenue

Maybe I am the last know but Monty's Burgers is a vegan burger chain in LA. The one near my house is at 516 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90020. I didn't realize it was not a "meat" burger until after I ordered and sat at the counter. Both cooks had a pro-vegan message on their shirt. At first I thought that was oddly humorous but then of course, I was the last to realize. OHHHHHHHH..... Got it. The fries were wonderful, and as you can see the chocolate shake so fun. The burger. I may have to go back to order another one. It was delicious but left me wanting more food. Maybe that's good. Maybe i eat too much? I will say the most impressive thing to me was that their place mats were designed by Gary Baseman. How cool is that?
