Evan's Kitchen in Montebello

As I wave goodbye to my residency with the LA County Library, we had a little lunch meeting. Chris was transferred to Montebello and heard about this amazing Chinese food place. We met there, in that non descript mini mall parking lot. As you can see, the exterior seems unfinished or maybe a secret. As you walk in, the smell is fabulous and a cute little boy seems to be commanding the attention of his parents. Who are the owners of this place, the parents or this little boy? His name is Evan and he's 2. The day Chris and i walked in happened to be Evan's birthday. He's a cute kid. i don't think you could get a more family vibe than what we experienced. As for the food.
