Hoffbrau in Amarillo Texas

It sure was a pleasure to hang out with Abby and Jon in Amarillo Texas. They're wonderful folk who run a co-op eco village called Mariposa. The first night I got in, Hikmet Loe was already there and our first meal was at the Hoffbrau, 7203 I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo, TX 79106. I'd say this was an excellent introduction to Amarillo. This was Hikmet, I and Aandrea Stang's first time there and Jon was kind enough to host us at Mariposa. Our objective was to see Robert Smithson's Amarillo Ramp, he's final earthwork but that night we ate! The beer, by the way, is a draught of Shiner. I always try to drink Shiner when in Texas. The food here was spectacular. Those honey baked bacon strips were incredible.
