Zankou Chicken in Glendale

I've never been to the well loved Zankou Chicken. I've eaten it at various events and get togethers but never at one of the cafes. I started with the one in Glendale; 1415 E Colorado St d, Glendale, CA 91205. I think my favorite thing about Zankou is the garlic dip you get on the side. What is that? It's so delicious. The family has a sad and dark element to it in recent year that includes murder. it's hard to sit there and not think about that.
