Tamarind Avenue Deli in Hollywood

here's another place I've passed hundreds of times and finally had an opportunity to get lunch there. Tamarind Avenue Deli is located at 1471 Tamarind Avenue, Hollywood CA 90028, 323-960-2451 and is just south of Sunset Blvd. I was torn between the hot pastrami and the meatball and the server in back of the deli recommended the meatball. The red sauce had some spice to eat and the meatballs had that bready quality like the meatballs at Trader Joes. I thought was good but not as good as my staple meatball sandwich, Eastside Deli in Chinatown. The Kemper Rootbeer from Portland was outstanding.
