Our Bike Crew went on a fun ride to West LA last-last Sunday. Our friend Sojin Kim was in town so we had a good turn out to say hello to the DC-LA-DC transplant. We had brunch at La Bottega, 11363 Santa Monica Blvd, WLA, CA 90025 and had a rich menu of food including ravioli's, pasta's, soups, vegetarian pizza, and lots of dessert. My favorite and we shared three was the mango cake, wow! This was an exceptional brunch. I think partially, there's an old school pride the staff at La Bottega but also it's the company. greta food and great friends. You can't go wrong with that combo. We checked out the Made In LA exhibit at the Hammer, which was a bit hit and miss as well as riding to LACMA to see the Heizer Rock, which was very fun. The rock was like an inverted Grand Canyon and gave that part of the museum a tourist vibe.
